This brochure was created by LEIGH Instruments Limited to advertise their TACAN (Tactical Air Navigation) systems. The brochure goes into detail about the TACAN systems features and their military/commercial uses. The TACAN systems are solid state Beacons which would send information to aircraft telling them their bearing and distance relative to a station (where the TACAN systems are primarily located) with great accuracy.
